Vulfpeck is an American funk group formed out of the University of Michigan’s music school by Jack Stratton who wanted to channel the era of the live rhythm section of the U.S. session musicians of the 1960s such as the Funk Brothers, Wrecking Crew, and Muscle Shoals.

The band members are Jack Stratton (keys, drums, guitar), Theo Katzman (guitar, drums), Woody Goss (keyboards) and Joe Dart (fender bass).

Vulfpeck has four EPs to date and two full-length albums with another one due out on November 7th, 2017 called, Mr. Finish Line. Today, they have released the latest single off the album called “Hero Town,” which is a feel-good track you’ll want to jam to!
